Making holiday mocktails is one of the pleasures of my life that I really didn’t anticipate. I have never been the best baker or cake decorator, nor do I have the tools/skills to become one, but I love the idea of having a wow factor at a party. That’s why mocktails are so wonderful – they have a very lower barrier of entry and can still wow a crowd! Plus, mocktails are hard to mess up, and you can add simple touches to them that make them so much fun to drink and a real crowd pleaser.
Having a fun mocktail at a dinner party with a fancy straw and pretty garnish can really elevate the menu, and no one has to know how simple they are to achieve! Here are a few of our favorite tried and true mocktails that will bring some delicious merriment to your holiday soiree:
1. “Berry” Christmas Sparkling Mocktail
This mocktail combines a lot of delicious flavors of the season, but my favorite part is the sugared cranberry garnish! Just wet some berries, roll them in sugar, let them dry, and the result will be sparkly berries that look like they were just picked from a magical winter wonderland.
2. Fizzy Cider Sparkling Mocktail
The flavors are the real star of this festive mocktail. The combination of apple cider, cranberry juice and lime might seem like a wild at first, but once mixed they are like drinking Christmas magic!
3. Sparkling Wassail Mocktail
There is nothing like the scent of wassail bubbling on the stove at Christmastime, and giving that holiday staple a bubbly, refreshing twist makes it perfect for a party.
4. Holiday Mojito Mocktail with Cranberry and Pomegranate
Don’t tell the others, but this one might be my favorite. Not only is the pairing of the beverage and garnish the perfect Christmas green and red, cranberry and lime with a touch of mint is the most delicious combination.
5. Tropical Medley Mocktail
Maybe you celebrate Christmas somewhere warmer (or want to pretend you do!) and you want to steer away from the typical cinnamon-centric fare? This tropical medley mocktail is perfect! Not only is it gorgeous to look at, it has a burst of tropical flavors that will make your holiday party feel like you are on a beach somewhere.
6. Mojito Mocktail with Mango and Ginger
This lovely mocktail is another twist on the classic mojito with the addition of mango and ginger! It is so refreshing and full of beautiful flavor!
7. Sparkling Pineapple Mojito Mocktail
Ok, fine…maybe we have a tiny mojito obsession around here! This one adds a splash of pineapple, and you could add a bit of an extra holiday twist to it by simmering the pineapple with some cinnamon before adding it to the glass! So delicious.
