How To Create A Spooky Halloween Village Set
Step 1: Lay out your village, trees, and other accessories on newspaper or cardboard. Spray with black spray paint, and let dry completely. I love how a little black spray paint completely transforms even the smallest details – like the figurines that were once shoveling snow that, once sprayed, are digging a grave. It’s a little sinister, but that’s what Halloween is about!
Step 2: Add wisps of spider webbing to the trees and buildings.
Step 3: Add battery-powered tea lights under the houses for an eerie flickering light effect.
I love how this spooky upcycle turned out, and I especially love how easy it was to make.
Happy upcycling!
