DIY Strawberry Halloween Costume for a Toddler
We love a good homemade Halloween costume around here, and every year when fall approaches, our minds start racing with costume ideas we can put together ourselves! One of our favorite things about DIY Halloween costumes is that they are unique and comfortable, and they have an element of character that you just can’t get from one you buy at the store! So, today we are honoring the homemade Halloween costume and sharing a simple Strawberry Halloween Costume – perfect for toddlers, kids, and even adults – made from an oversized t-shirt. Supplies needed to make a Strawberry Halloween Costume
Red adult shirt (a girls dress would also work)
Black fabric marker
Green felt
Blank headbandd
Fabric glue
How do you make a strawberry costume?

Step 2: Cut green felt into 6 large leaf shapes. Use fabric glue to attach leaves, overlapping slightly, to the neck of the shirt.
Step 3: Cut green felt into leaf shapes in a variety of sizes. Starting with the smallest leaf pieces, glue into a cluster, wrapping larger pieces around the smaller ones, and folding the tips down.
Step 4: Cut a rectangle out of felt and roll it into a stem, securing with glue. Glue the bottom of the stem in the middle of the leaf cluster.
Step 5: Glue the cluster to the headband.
